What can you expect for your business?

Our offers are competitive and based on current market rates for hosting clients. Typically, we provide up to 10 months’ worth of your annual turnover. For example, if your annual turnover is £50,000, we would offer approximately £41,000.

We strive to offer fair valuations based on both the quality of your client base and the stability of your contracts. Let’s discuss how we can make an offer that works for both parties.

What's the process?

The first step is to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). This is crucial, as we will need to conduct a thorough audit of your records, servers, and client data to determine the best offer we can provide.

Once we’ve reviewed your records and agreed on a price, we will prepare a contract for the transfer of ownership. Unlike some buyers who are interested in purchasing the entire company, we are solely focused on acquiring your assets. Any liabilities will remain with your company.

Next, we’ll craft a communication that will be sent to your clients, introducing ourselves and outlining the transition process:

  • Billing Information

    We will copy over your clients’ billing details and set up new accounts in our billing system.

  • Onboarding Procedure

    Your clients will be sent an email of the onboarding process letting them know who their new point of contact will be, the different levels of support they have access to and other supporting information like the process of raising a ticket.

  • Introduction to New Account Manager

    Schedule a call between the clients points of contact and your company’s personal ADROIT IT account manager.

We will transfer 50% of the purchase price when we begin migrating clients, and the final balance will be paid upon completion.

In some instances, you may not have control over certain client domains, or there may be delays in transferring them. In these cases, we will set up the client in our system and transfer their backups. They will then have 30 days to update their nameservers, during which time your servers will need to remain active.
